Dental Hygiene Instructor

Overview

Inspire and train the next generation of dental hygienists by bringing your clinical expertise into the classroom as a Dental Hygiene Instructor. This Jobot Job is hosted by Parker Huguley.

• Deliver engaging didactic and/or clinical instruction in dental hygiene coursework
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and accreditation standards
• Supervise students in lab and clinical settings, ensuring patient safety and best practices
• Evaluate student performance through exams, competencies, and clinical assessments
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback to students
• Maintain accurate academic records and documentation
• Collaborate with faculty and campus leadership to support program outcomes and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements

• Active Dental Hygiene license (state-appropriate or eligible)
• Associate’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)
• Prior teaching, precepting, or clinical training experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and student success

Salary: $50 - $55 per hour
