Clinical Track Periodontics Faculty (C/T) Open Rank – Periodontics
Location: University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Colorado
DescriptionThe University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine (CUSDM) invites applications for a full‑time Clinical Track position in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences and Surgical Dentistry. The position may be ranked at Assistant Professor (C/T), Associate Professor (C/T), or Professor (C/T) depending on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Undergraduate and graduate level didactic and clinical teaching
- Research and patient care in periodontics
- Develop academic programs and initiatives across school strengths
- Opportunity to participate in the Dental Faculty Practice
- Completion of a CODA accredited periodontics specialty program
- Periodontics board certification or eligibility for certification
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent

Minimum qualifications above. - Associate Professor:
Minimum qualifications above plus demonstrated research and teaching excellence. - Professor:
Minimum qualifications above plus national/international reputation and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to a collaborative, multicultural environment
- Experience in educational innovation and technology in education
- Evidence of research experience
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- IV sedation certification (State of Colorado)
