Job SummaryThe successful candidate will serve as a clinician‑educator in a full‑time clinical track or tenure track Comprehensive Care Faculty position. Responsibilities include teaching, clinical service, research, scholarship, and mentorship.
Responsibilities- Teach didactic and clinical courses at the undergraduate dental student level and supervise graduate students.
- Provide comprehensive clinical care and supervise clinical clinics.
- Conduct research and scholarship in dentistry.
- Participate in departmental meetings, educational conferences, and committee work.
- Engage in the Dental Faculty Practice for private patient care if required.
- Assistant Professor: DDS/DMD from a CODA‑accredited U.S. dental school or equivalent foreign degree; eligible for Colorado dental license; demonstrated successful teaching and clinical experience.
- Associate Professor: DDS/DMD from a CODA‑accredited U.S. dental school or equivalent foreign degree; eligible for Colorado dental license; substantial evidence of teaching, leadership, and service.
- Professor: DDS/DMD from a CODA‑accredited U.S. dental school or equivalent foreign degree; eligible for Colorado dental license; exceptional career achievements in teaching, clinical care, leadership, and scholarship.
- Completion of a CODA‑approved dental specialty and/or general practice residency (preferred).
- Dental specialty board eligibility (if specialty).
- Academic healthcare experience and demonstrated commitment to a multi‑cultural environment.
- Demonstrated teaching and research experience, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Completion of a CODA approved Dental Specialty and/or General Practice Residency.
- Dental specialty board eligible.
- Academic healthcare experience at a dental school.
