Overview

What You’ll Do

We are expecting you to have a joyful personality as you will be our first point of contact when patients walk into our office and call in on the phone. You will play a vital role in the patient experience, scheduling, communication, reporting and daily office operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities
  • Able to be taught and eager to learn our systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient use of Open Dental, Doctible, insurance portals, Word, and Excel
  • Greet/check-in & check-out patients
  • Assist patients with completing new patient forms (in office or via email/text)
  • Take and log daily payments; run and reconcile end-of-day totals
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Call, text, email, fax, and mail patient reminders, billing, instructions etc.
  • Chart patient interactions and insurance notes accurately
  • Track and manage lab cases to ensure readiness for procedures
  • Open and close the office as needed
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stocking of front desk and waiting area
  • Stock and clean patient coffee area, fridge, humidifier, magazines, tables, and chairs
  • Create office materials such as community treatment day flyers
  • Support team members
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality/HIPAA standards, and a patient-focused attitude
Hours
  • Monday: you are off!
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:15 am - 6:15 pm (one hour lunch break!)
  • Friday: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm (no lunch break and out early!)
