This clinical teaching (C/T) track full-time position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor (C/T), Associate Professor (C/T), or Professor (C/T) depending upon candidate qualifications.
Location:
onsite in Aurora, Colorado.
- The responsibilities of this position include undergraduate and graduate level didactic and clinical teaching, research, and patient care. An academic focus is expected and can be developed in any number of areas across school programs and strengths, including dental education research, clinical, translational, or basic science research. Opportunities to participate in the Dental Faculty Practice are available.
Onsite — this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications.
Assistant Professor:
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Completion of a CODA-accredited periodontics specialty program
- Periodontics board certification or eligible for certification
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Associate Professor:
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Completion of a CODA-accredited periodontics specialty program
- Periodontics board certification or eligible for certification
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Professor:
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Periodontics board certified or eligible for certification
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
- National and international reputation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic experience and a commitment to working in a collaborative and multi-cultural environment; commitment to ethical and professional conduct
- Experience in educational innovation, including use of technology in education; teaching and research experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication skills
- IV sedation certification (State of Colorado)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Effective written and oral communication
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Outstanding customer service skills

Anticipated Pay RangeAssistant Professor: $145,000 - $170,000
Associate Professor: $170,000 - $195,000
Professor: $195,000 - $220,000
