Laboratory Coordinator 1
Temporary Classified position limited to no more than 9‑months.
Job SummaryThis temporary position provides critical support required for hands‑on learning experiences to first‑ and second‑year undergraduate dental and international students. The role prepares the School of Dental Medicine’s Simulation Clinic, DASH and Technique Lab with equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to support all pre‑clinical learning activities and issues, replaces, and collects materials and instruments to/from students as needed using automated dispensary and inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare materials and supplies for variable dental teaching activities in the labs.
- Work closely with faculty to ensure laboratory sessions run smoothly.
- Supervise students as they complete learning activities.
- Ensure the learning activities progress smoothly and efficiently.
- Support full‑time staff in ordering, cataloging, and organizing supplies for lab activities.
- Special projects may include spreadsheet development and completion and workflow improvements.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora at the CU Anschutz campus.

Minimum Qualifications- Two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position or a combination of related education and/or relevant experience equal to two (2) years.
- Dental experience is desired but not required.

The hiring rate for this position has been established at $25‑31/hour, based on experience. The above salary rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.
