Position
Dental Assistant
LocationMultiple sites within a community health center
Role OverviewSupport dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists, sterilizing instruments, and taking dental radiographs. Maintain patient records, provide oral care instructions, schedule appointments, and manage dental supplies. Ensure a welcoming environment for patients and uphold infection control protocols.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent;
- dental assisting program graduate preferred;
- current certification or eligibility;
- radiology certification and CPR required;
- excellent communication skills;
- Experience in community health or dental public health is a plus.
- Assist during procedures, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, record treatment data, instruct patients, schedule appointments, and maintain supplies.
