OurEDDAsare empowered tobe more independent chairside wheneducatingpatients on dental treatment and oral health.

Our EDDAsworkhands onwith the doctors,inprovidingexceptionalcare for our patients while working efficiently to maintain patient flow.
- Assists the doctorsat chair-side with all aspects of dental treatment
- Performs advanceddentalassistingtreatmentincluding coronal polish, sealants, crown prep, denture impressions and adjustments,packing cord,andClassII fillings
- Sterilize,disinfect,and prepare instruments andequipmentfor patient treatment
- Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by thedoctor
- Presenting treatment to patients based on Doctor recommendations
- Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner
- Record patient charting and all the doctor’s notes in the digital patient chart as directed
- Provides continuous support, training, and feedback to teammates
- Store and maintains inventory and adequate supplies in all dental workareas
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Risaspolicies and practices)
- Perform additional advanced duties as requested by Doctors or Office Manager
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- High School Diploma or GED required
- EDDA Certification preferred
- 3years' experience in the dental field preferred
- X-ray certification
- Coronal polish certification
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Mustbe highly skilled, trained, andhave superior knowledge of dental clinical operationsandterminology
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients
- Must haveawarm,friendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player,to teammates as needed.
