Sterilization Technician to join our Risasfamily.

The Sterilization Technician performs cleaning,decontamination, sterilizationofinstruments, trays, operatoriesand equipment.

Our Sterilization Technicians work hands onto support our Dental Assistants and Doctorsin patient care.

• Responsible for decontamination and cleaning of all equipment and instruments; ensurescleanlinessand sterility of all instruments
• Accurately assembles instruments sets based on established count sheets; effectively uses materials and supplieswhileminimizingwaste
• Appropriately prepares and packages single instrument items,differentiating items requiring steam versus gas sterilization
• Stores, delivers, and manages sterile supplies usingaseptictechnique
• Evaluates functioning of equipment; reports malfunction follows through to ensure appropriate repairs are complete and maintenance performed preventing future damage
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each use
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, and Risaspolicies and practices)
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment
• Must have basic computer skills
• Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology preferred
• Prioritize multiple demands and requests tomaintainpatientflow
• Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members asneeded
