Meet Grand County Christian Academy
Grand County Christian Academy, originally founded as Winter Park Christian School, first opened its doors in 2005, serving the families of Winter Park Christian Church. After a successful soft launch that first year, enrollment expanded to welcome families throughout the wider community.
In 2018, GCCA moved into its beautiful new building located within Winter Park Christian Church, providing the space and resources needed to support a growing student body. While the elders provide direction for the school and the church remains our strongest supporter, our Advisory Committee continues to cultivate partnerships across Grand County, strengthening the school’s reach and impact. In 2019, Winter Park Christian School officially became Grand County Christian Academy, reflecting our broader vision for serving families throughout the county.
In 2023, GCCA earned full accreditation through both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia, a milestone that affirms our commitment to high-quality, mission-driven education rooted in biblical truth.
Today, GCCA continues to grow, guided by a deep desire to prepare students academically, spiritually, and personally for God-honoring lives of purpose and impact.
