A school district in Aurora, CO is seeking a licensed and certified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in assessments, interventions, and consultation within a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health and well-being
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with school staff and families
- Ability to manage caseloads and work independently within a school setting
