Job DescriptionThird Future Schools is a high‑achieving network of charter schools. Academy of Advanced Learning in Aurora, CO is looking for a Seventh Grade ELA teacher. Teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success. They create a safe and orderly learning environment for their class and for all students in the school. Teachers are supervised by the principal and assistant principal.
Classroom teachers receive strong support. Lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities are provided by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants make copies and grade papers for the teachers. Teachers also have minimal duties and only four days a month. The maximum salary for a teacher with three years of demonstrated achievement is $74,000.
