Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and caring Paraprofessional to join our team near Allenspark, Colorado. This full-time position involves working 1-on-1 with a child with significant needs, providing vital support to help the student thrive in an educational setting. As a Paraprofessional, you will assist with daily activities, implement individualized education plans, and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-on-1 support to a child with significant needs
- Assist with daily activities and classroom routines
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support the student's learning and development
- Monitor and document the student's progress and behavior
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the student's needs
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special needs is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed
