The RMP Promise

Rocky Mountain Prep is a movement of educators, families, scholars, and advocates committed to changing public education in Colorado by democratizing college access for historically marginalized students and families. We operate twelve college-preparatory schools serving students from early childhood through twelfth grade, and we are fundamentally a world-class learning organization that invests deeply in every educator who joins us. Teachers engage in ongoing coaching and professional development, supported by clear expectations, transparent feedback, and opportunities to strengthen their craft and advance along individualized career pathways grounded in our PEAK values.

Rooted in a culture of rigor and love, RMP promises to coach, develop, and champion every team member so they can do their best work and grow as professionals, people, and leaders.

Our Approach to Autism Center Paraprofessional Support

At RMP, paraprofessionals do more than help in classrooms; they make sure every student can access learning, grow independence, and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. By supporting instruction, reinforcing routines, using accommodations, and helping students manage behavior and social-emotional skills, you play a direct role in their success every day. This work is all about creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students feel seen, supported, and empowered.

In this role, you help students build confidence, independence, and a love of learning that sets them up for long-term success.

At RMP, Autism Center Paraprofessionals play a critical role in creating safe, structured, and joyful learning environments for scholars with autism and related needs. Paraprofessionals work closely alongside lead teachers and service providers to deliver highly individualized, IEP-aligned support in calm, sensory-informed classrooms while also facilitating meaningful inclusion opportunities across the broader school community. Through consistent routines, visual supports, sensory strategies, and proactive behavior systems, paraprofessionals help scholars build independence, regulation, confidence, and academic and functional skills.

Grounded in collaboration, data-driven practices, and strong relationships with scholars and families, paraprofessionals are empowered and supported through coaching and professional development to ensure every scholar is safe, known, and celebrated.
