Job Summary
University of Colorado Anschutz Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is recruiting for multiple open‑rank, tenure‑eligible faculty positions across research and clinical domains. Depending on qualifications and program needs, appointments may be made in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy or the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with extensive collaboration opportunities across the CU Anschutz academic medical and health sciences campus.

- Conduct cutting‑edge research to advance pharmaceutical sciences and address critical health challenges.
- Build interdisciplinary collaborations within departments, across the School, and campus‑wide.
- Publish and secure externally funded research that spans clinical and research domains.
- Teach graduate and postgraduate courses, developing contemporary coursework.
- Mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research staff.
- Participate in departmental, university, and professional service, including committees and scholarly organizations.

QualificationsAssistant Professor
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in one target area, evidenced by a strong publication record or potential for securing extramural research funding.
Associate Professor
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in one target area, evidenced by a strong publication record or potential for securing extramural research funding.
- Meets School of Pharmacy criteria for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.
Professor
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in one target area, evidenced by a strong publication record or potential for securing extramural research funding.
- Meets School of Pharmacy criteria for appointment at the rank of Professor.
Preferred Qualifications (All Ranks)
- Experience in one or more of the School’s focus areas of excellence.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring, preferably with graduate or postgraduate students.
- Strong record of collaborative, team science research.
- Experience with large paradigm‑shifting center grants.
- Documented research excellence, reflected in peer‑reviewed publications and contributions to the field.
- Successful history of securing external research funding from federal agencies, foundations, or industry partners.
