Job Description
Seeking an Amazing Lead Qualified Teacher.
Currently seeking quality lead teachers well seasoned in running and planning curriculum for a busy classroom by providing quality curriculum, structured classroom design, and predictable routines. Must be fluent in English. The hours for this position will be 9-5.
Job Responsibilities- Develops weekly plans, and implements age-appropriate curriculum (lesson plans) to nurture and stimulate all domains of child’s development.
- Provides a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children’s learning and growth.
- Performs ongoing developmental evaluations of children as required and completes parent-teacher conferences twice per year.
- Implements and maintains classroom management and schedule.
- Maintains anecdotal records for children.
- Demonstrates cultural competency and respect for the child’s background by incorporating cultural, linguistic and familial values and beliefs into the childcare program and lesson plans.
- Completes child transition and orientation of classroom with parents.
- Maintains ongoing communication with parents/caregivers.
- Completes daily attendance, meal records, accident/incident reports and daily sheets for parents. This includes performing name-to-face attendance for each transition that occurs.
- Maintains a healthy, safe, clean and developmentally appropriate environment for children in the classroom and on the playground, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, toys, and sinks before use. Completes daily checks of toys and materials for broken or missing items.
- Provides redirection and support for child interactions.
- Participates in ongoing development and evaluation of the center’s goals and objectives.
- Reports all staff and classroom concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attends all staff meetings scheduled for the center.
- Obtains 15 hours of continuing education each year.
- Closes room each day in accordance with the checklist.
- Supervises, trains, and encourages assistants and aides to contribute to curriculum and planning as well as parent communication.
- Creates monthly supply list.
- 6 paid holidays (after 90 days of employment, for full-time employees)
- Up to 6 paid sick days per year starting with your first year

Day shift (hours based on center’s needs)
Monday to Friday
Education and Experience- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- ECE Classes (Preferred)
- PDIS Level 2 Credential
- Childcare: 3 year (preferred)
Full-time, Part-time
CompensationPay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
License/Certification- PDIS Training (Required)
- Lead Teacher credential (Required)
