Regional Coordinator (Clinical Instructor)
Job Summary: Two part‑time positions (0.1 FTE, ≈4 hours per week) to serve as a regional ambassador for CU Pharmacy, supporting student recruitment, experiential learning, and regional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the regional ambassador for CU Pharmacy by promoting academic programs, professional pathways, and the college's mission through community outreach, educational partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support student recruitment and pipeline development by implementing regional outreach strategies, mentoring prospective and admitted students, and expanding awareness of pharmacy careers in rural and underserved communities.
- Foster positive student experiential learning experiences by coordinating with faculty, reviewing student experiential materials, identifying co‑curricular opportunities, and serving as a regional representative for experiential education initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison among CU Pharmacy, AHEC partners, community organizations, and healthcare stakeholders to strengthen regional partnerships, facilitate communication, and address student support needs, including housing and clinical placement concerns.
- Recruit, develop, and support regional preceptors and experiential training sites by building relationships with healthcare partners, assisting with onboarding, and promoting professional development opportunities that enhance experiential education capacity.
Work Location: Remote (must reside in the United States)
Qualifications- PharmD or another relevant healthcare degree.
- Experience in education, healthcare, advising, recruitment, outreach, or community engagement.
- Valid driver's license, resident of the designated region, and ability to travel within the region.
- Experience working with AHEC centers, experiential education, health professions, or rural communities.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Colorado healthcare systems and pharmacy practice environments.
