- Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Professor – General Radiologist
The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado Denver is seeking applicants for a full-time General Radiologist faculty physician. We are interested in candidates at any stage of their career from the Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. This is an open-track position with faculty able to select between the Academic/Tenure-Eligible and Clinical Practice pathways. Our Clinical Practice pathway is a good fit for radiologists who want to focus exclusively on clinical work with a WRVU-based compensation plan that incentivizes clinical productivity.
The Tenure-Eligible pathway is a good fit for radiologists who prefer a more traditional academic track with a non-clinical incentive plan that incentivizes academic work. Exceptional international candidates who need J1 waivers are excellent candidates for either pathway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret imaging studies across various modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
- Primarily reads studies from all modalities and the following subspecialities:
Abdominal, Neuro, MSK, and Chest sections - Participation and collaboration in multidisciplinary conferences
- Participation in fellow, and resident education is expected
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO. Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule with the ability to read from home and from the hospital as the section clinical schedule allows. Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Sr. Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below. Rank at the time of appointment will be based on the candidate's demonstrated contributions and experience in teaching, clinical, research, and/or service to the field.

Sr. Instructor - Professor Minimum Qualifications
Licensed MD or DO from accredited institution in the U.S., or equivalent, if a non-U.S. graduate, must be A eligible or certified, and have Colorado license by the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Subspeciality fellowship training
Experience working and collaborating with multiple clinical specialties
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures
Competency in basic radiology procedures
