Assess and provide intervention to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program which fosters achievement for all students. Develops and promotes good relations among community and school clientele.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting Relationships
:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- Master's degree
- Student teaching/practicum/internship experience that meets or exceeds Colorado's requirements
- Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License
- Endorsements/Licenses:
Speech/Language Pathologist - Hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program) account and provide NPI and Health First Colorado account information to the Office of Human Resources and the District
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic organizational skills
- Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations skills
- Ability to support programs designed to increase student achievement
- Ability to assume leadership in the development and communication of programs and curriculum
- Ability and desire to work as a team member
- Ability to understand, appreciate, and make accommodations for student diversity
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to serve as a role model and an innovative and creative learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge that stays on the cutting edge of instructional practice and pedagogy
- Light work strength level (lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds)
- Primarily works indoors
- Typically a moderate noise level
- Work location is subject to change to meet the requirements of the organization
