Part-Time Before and After School Split-Shift Program Manager

Right At School seeks a dedicated Program Manager for a pre‑ and after‑school split‑shift role during the  school year. The position requires serving 6:00 am‑7:45 am and 2:00 pm‑6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at Altura Elementary School in Aurora, CO, and Highlands Elementary in Littleton, CO.

  • Compensation: $25‑$27.50 per hour based on experience and educational qualifications
Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and joy standards by meeting role‑specific protocols, behavior policies, and program procedures.
  • Maintain operational efficiency by keeping site documents, licensing standards, attendance protocols, and program tasks current.
  • Coach staff, foster respectful relationships, and promptly address challenges to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Support safety protocols, report on safety status, and mitigate potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engage families, peers, and children through effective communication, responding promptly to emails and texts during program hours.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support program goals and implement changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs, ensuring “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe, engaging environment.
Requirements
  • § Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
  • § Current Large Center Director Certificate OR an active Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC) Version 3.0, Level 3 or higher, or ECPC Version 2.0, Level 4 or higher.
  • § Educational qualifications:
    • Option 1:
      Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in Child Development, Child Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Family and Human Development, Family Studies, or Special Education (no experience required).
    • Option 2:
      Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in an unrelated field + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
    • Option 3:
      Associate’s Degree + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
    • Option 4:
      No degree + 10 required ECE courses + 910 hours of specified ECE courses or approved training.
  • § 21+ years of age.
  • § One year of experience managing/supervising employees.
  • § Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Ideal Candidates
  • Experience working with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare or school setting.
  • Experience working with children, including those with unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development or a related field.
  • Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with adults and children.
  • Professional standards‑modeling ability when interacting with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and a drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
  • Must meet state‑specific requirements: live scan fingerprint, mandated reporter training, health certificate/cleared TB, CPR/FA.
