Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Special Education Teacher to join our staff in a bright, active, positive learning environment. The position requires a Colorado State Special Services Provider or State Teacher’s License.

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student in your care.
• Communicate with staff and families regarding progress and challenges.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for administrator approval.
• Participate in scheduled IEP meetings.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep students on track.
• Invite families to participate in student progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with on‑site therapists regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.

• Colorado State Special Services Provider or State Teacher’s License (required).
• Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• Experience working with K‑12 students.
