School of Dental Medicine, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Work Location:

Onsite – Aurora, CO (Anschutz Medical Campus)

Job Summary:

Part‑time pre‑clinical and clinical per‑diem faculty positions allowing faculty to teach and practice in dental specialties. The distribution of clinical and didactic teaching is determined by the Department Chair based on departmental and school needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical teaching and patient care in the specialty area.
  • Assist in planning, delivering, and assessing didactic courses.
  • Engage in scholarly and service activities as required by the department.
  • Work onsite and support the School of Dental Medicine’s mission to deliver integrated health care.
Minimum Qualifications
  • DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligibility to hold a license in Colorado.
  • Experience treating complex dental cases and medically complex patients in the specialty.
  • Clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with the appointment level (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a CODA approved Dental Specialty and/or General Practice Residency.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in the specialty.
  • Prior teaching experience.
  • Experience treating complex and multidisciplinary patients.

Salary Range

$67.50 – $125.00 per hour, depending on specialty.
