DesiredQualifications:
- Valid state teaching certification with special education endorsement
- Proven experience supporting K-8 learners with a variety of abilities and needs
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education best practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and families
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to student success
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to enhance student learning
- Provide tailored instruction and support to K-8 students with special needs in accordance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate each students strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to foster an inclusive classroom setting
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports on student performance
- Communicate effectively with families, ensuring updates and involvement in the educational process
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights for best student outcomes
