Rooney Ranch is an elementary school located in Lakewood, Colorado. We are part of the Green Mountain Articulation Area in Jefferson County. We are home to 525 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. We are committed to providing authentic learning opportunities for students as aligned to the four Green Mountain Area Academies (Business and Global Studies/ Health and Human Services/ Arts, Humanities and Performing Arts/ STEM).

We are looking for an individual who has a flexible daily schedule and that would be interested in being an "on call" substitute paraprofessional in our building when we experience unexpected paraprofessional absences. For example, receiving a phone call the morning of an unexpected absence is likely, and/or planned future absences for building paraprofessionals.

This position is designed as a 1.0 hour a day job with flexibility for up to 5 hours a day. This could be, but may not be, a consecutive daily job based on building needs.

This is a K-5 need-based position and could be in a classroom supporting students, supporting our workroom/office, and/or their lunch/recess times.

The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $57.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
