• Valid Special Education teacher certification
• Experience working with primary age students within school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP creation, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of learning styles and needs

• Develop, implement, and track individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Provide differentiated instruction and interventions in both classroom and small-group settings
• Partner with general education teachers and specialists to ensure comprehensive support
• Monitor student progress and adjust support as needed
• Maintain documentation to ensure full compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that respects student diversity
