Job Summary:
The Staff Technician will work under supervision to support remediation system operation and maintenance (O&M). This position will perform tasks related to operating and maintaining water treatment systems such as performing field monitoring, repairing pumps, replacing hoses and fittings, repairing and replacing system components, downloading electronic data, and evaluating and optimizing systems. Other responsibilities include groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, and water level monitoring, inspections, field work coordination, and health and safety oversight.
This full‑time position requires approximately 40‑45 hours per week involving outdoor field work in an industrial setting, and a clean driving record. - 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills (previous mechanical system O&M experience and/or electrical controls experience preferred).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A state industrial wastewater license or certification (preferred), or ability to obtain within 1–yr of employment.
- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing high‑quality project deliverables on schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
- Dependability, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to other regional client sites, as needed (up to 25% of the time).

Summary pay range: $20‑$27 per hour
