Position: Principle Systems Engineer (MBSE) - TS/SCI w Poly with Security Clearance
This position requires an active TS/SCI w Poly security clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire. Solidus is searching for a Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) for this on-site role based in Aurora, CO to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions.

This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems. Day in the life:
* Analyze and define how the system works creating use cases
* Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
* Provide engineering support for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition and test architecture design
* Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline
* Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program Clearance Requirements:
* Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required
* Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation and pass a polygraph exam

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) in a related field
* 8 years of prior relevant experience
* Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.
* Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
* Experience with high level programming languages (e.g. Python).
* Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.
* Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
* Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
* Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc).
* Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
* Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
* Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience working across contract and location boundaries o Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
* Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication. Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary. Full benefits: $112,000 to $140,000 annually Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision):
