Systems Integration Engineer, Lead – Booz Allen

ResponsibilitiesOn our team you will work with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next‑generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government in ensuring space, ground, and user segments and external stakeholders are integrated successfully to meet user needs.
Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet the threat.
- 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
- 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA
- 2+ years of experience performing risk management on space, ground, software, or hardware system Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience with ground monitoring stations such as GPS
- Experience using a Model‑Based Systems Engineering or digital engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
- Ability to effectively communicate, work collaboratively on a cross‑functional team and independently, and demonstrate an initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast‑paced environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with GPS, PNT, or NAVWAR
- Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
- Experience working with software factories or Dev Sec Ops pipelines
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
- Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI‑ACP, or ICP Certification
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
Work Model- Remote:
The position may require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility. - Hybrid:
The role will frequently require work from a Booz Allen facility and may also require visits to a customer facility. - Onsite:
Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
Salary for this position is projected to be in the range of $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimated range represents the typical salary for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
