Pay Rate

$38 - $48 (hourly estimate)

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Entry‑Level Hardware Engineer to support a large, mission‑critical space program within the aerospace and defense industry. This individual will work hands‑on with satellite‑related infrastructure in a secure, onsite environment, supporting 24x7 operations. The role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain exposure to real‑world aerospace systems, networking hardware, and documentation efforts while contributing to a high‑impact national defense mission.

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering discipline
• Entry‑level candidate with strong interest in aerospace/space systems
• Self‑starter with eagerness to learn and grow in a hands‑on environment
• Active TS clearance (required)

• Exposure to Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment
• Experience or familiarity with hardware assembly and COTS products
• Drawing or documentation experience (Visio preferred)
