We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who has a strong background in high-voltage substations, electrical transmission & distribution, and utility-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Analyze and compute data related to construction projects, such as material cost, labor cost, and time frames.
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates.
- Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the scope and requirements of the project.
- Review and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for high-voltage substations, electrical transmission lines & distribution, and utility-scale projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid.
- Extensive knowledge of high voltage substations, electric power transmission, electrical transmission, and EHV transmission lines.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and the construction industry.
