** THE WORK*
* Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented
** level 3 Satellite Mission Engineer with an active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance to work from our Aurora, CO location*
* As Satellite Mission Engineer, you will:
- Conduct mission/program specific real time spacecraft/satellite flight operations during readiness, execution and evaluation phases
- Develop detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on orbit satellites
- Provide technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support
- Provide failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data
- Utilize system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommend improvements
- Perform flight length orbit adjust and daily special event studies
This is an EARLY MID CAREER level 3 ROLE where candidates typically require 3 years of professional experience and a BS degree

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* - 3 years of related experience
- Must have an active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of real time mission operations SIGINT experience
- Ability to perform real time troubleshooting and
anomaly resolution
- Experience developing, operating, and testing
modern technical systems
- Experience working independently and in technical teams
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
