Tensley Consulting is seeking a FISINT Signals Analyst to support signals analysis activities focused on internally generated signals and telemetry from foreign systems. The FISINT Signals Analyst performs analysis of internally generated signals, telemetry, and data streams to characterize the operation, configuration, and behavior of foreign systems. The analyst ingests, decommutates, parses, validates, and interprets telemetry and related data to produce decision-quality intelligence.
The FISINT Signals Analyst analyzes telemetry structures, scaling, units, operational modes, events, and system states. The role develops and maintains telemetry dictionaries, data definitions, and analytic documentation to support reproducibility and traceability. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Eight (8) years of experience supporting signals analysis, telemetry analysis, or related technical intelligence analysis is required. Six (6) years of experience may be accepted with a Master's degree in a related technical discipline. Twelve (12) years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a degree. Salary: $130,000-$150,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed.
Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
