Process Control Lead, Aurora, CO
PMI is seeking a Process Control Lead to plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee electric, electronics, and equipment process control activities on the manufacturing floor. The role ensures equipment maintenance, modifications, and improvements are performed at the best cost and specified quality, complying with PMI standards and driving overall performance toward customer satisfaction.
Your Day‑to‑day Responsibilities- Lead site process control optimization by implementing proper procedures for adjustments and calibration.
- Coordinate activities related to electricity, electronics, equipment process control installation, and modification of production equipment.
- Lead technical development of process control projects to improve safety, quality, and efficient use of equipment, spare parts, and materials.
- Perform regular coaching to develop PC&IS and daily management system capabilities of the team, supporting personnel skill and technical development.
- Owner of the operations, control & instrumentation strategy & master plan, focusing on simplification, automation, digitalization projects and PC&IS capability ownership.
- Analyze the most frequent causes of breakdowns, wastes, out‑of‑spec products and recommend corrective actions to contribute to overall productivity and quality improvement.
- Update the technical documentation with the latest modifications or improvements.
- Support necessary qualification and validation activities (Computer System Validation) following changes or upgrades.
- Collaborate with Information Security Operations for assessments on the shop floor and vulnerability management.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, train users, and provide technical support to production personnel.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent education, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics major preferred.
- More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing facilities or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Programming abilities desired.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaboration, teamwork, customer orientation, quick learning, and attention to detail.
