  • Develop electrical design packages including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, power distribution drawings, site layouts, and installation details.
  • Create instrumentation and controls documentation including P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, wiring schematics, and termination drawings.
  • Design and document control panels, power panels, MCC interfaces, and associated electrical systems.
  • Support PLC, HMI, and SCADA system design documentation and control architecture development.
  • Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and power system evaluations.
  • Develop electrical specifications, equipment datasheets, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate electrical and controls designs with mechanical, process, civil, and structural engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, ISA, and applicable industry standards.
  • Produce construction-ready drawing packages and incorporate field revisions into as-built documentation.
  • Provide technical support during installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Technical Requirements
  • 10+ years of electrical, instrumentation, and controls design experience.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems, industrial controls, and instrumentation.
  • Experience developing electrical construction drawings and design packages.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD;
    Revit experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, HMI development, and SCADA architectures.
  • Knowledge of electrical protection, motor controls, VFDs, MCCs, and field instrumentation.
  • Experience with I/O design, control panel layouts, and wiring documentation.
  • Understanding of electrical codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, and ISA.
  • Ability to support power studies, load analysis, and electrical system design calculations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred; PE license a plus.
