Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Principal Systems Engineer – Raytheon, Aurora, CO
Salary: USD 107,500 – 204,500.
Location:
Aurora, CO (Onsite)
Security clearance required:
Active DoD TS/SCI U.S. government‑issued clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Provide technical analyses and define system behavior using Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Decompose system requirements, define interfaces, and determine validation and verification methods.
- Develop capability and feature designs supporting Agile software teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support execution of Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) activities, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture, verification, and validation.
- Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline.
- Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings with internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test engineers to deliver mission‑critical satellite ground system capabilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including Con Ops development, requirements definition and management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and verification and validation.
- Experience supporting systems engineering or integration and test activities on a government contract.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams in support of complex system development and integration.
- Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in an Agile development environment using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Experience supporting mission management ground systems or satellite ground system development programs.
- Experience providing Technical Subcontract Management support.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Experience with requirements management databases such as DOORS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
