Customer Service Rep
Position Summary
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, sales analysis, and responsiveness to economic trends and community needs. Models and guides Associates in customer service to resolve Member/Customer issues within Company guidelines. Oversees community outreach and ensures compliance with policies, asset protection, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Supervise Vision Center Associates; hire, train, mentor, assign duties; provide recognition and foster belonging.
- Consult with Members/Customers to educate on eyewear, select products based on needs, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidentiality, perform minor repairs, and maintain equipment.
- Ensure confidentiality of information and documents; support Open Door Policy by addressing concerns and suggesting resolutions.
- Develop and monitor action plans to improve performance; coordinate with stakeholders; communicate goals and track progress; identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; protect assets; oversee safety, operations, and quality assurance; align with Company programs and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain community involvement and customer service excellence; encourage continuous learning and adaptability.
Completion of 2+ years of college or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years general work including 1 year optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
