This is a high-impact leadership opportunity reporting directly to the CFO. The Controller will oversee the accounting operations of the company with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, job cost/percentage of completion accounting, and financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Of Controller- Lead core accounting functions with a strong focus on AR, revenue recognition, job cost/percentage of completion accounting, and balance sheet integrity
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and perform detailed analytical review of results
- Partner closely with operations to monitor project performance, margins, billing accuracy, and cash flow
- Collaborate with the CFO on annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
- Strengthen internal controls and improve processes surrounding revenue, receivables, and reporting
- Drive automation and modernization initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability
- Support and help manage the annual audit process
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support strategic growth initiatives
- Lead and develop the accounting team with an emphasis on AR and revenue cycle oversight
- Build scalable processes and identify training opportunities to support continued company growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- Public accounting experience required
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Construction or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of percentage of completion accounting and revenue recognition
- Proficiency in accounting software (Great Plains preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence
- $160k-$180k base salary
