Tax Analyst

Century Group is in search of an experienced Tax Analyst to join a team in the East Aurora, Colorado area. Qualified candidates with 4+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $45 per hour.

Contract Position (3-5 months)

Job Description:

• Assist with tax account reconciliation for corporate income tax accruals and payments, compliance, sales and use tax.
• Preparation and review of international income tax compliance
• Prepare and update tax provision schedules to facilitate efficiencies in tax reporting and tax compliance
• Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests, tax exemptions and credit
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• 4+ years of experience in a Tax Analyst position
• Sales and Use Tax experience required
• Manufacturing experience - preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
