Job Summary- Activate Grant Accounts
- Contract and Subcontract Administration
- Reconcile grant, AEF and gift accounts on a monthly basis, reviewing transactions for appropriateness
- Provide monthly financial projections to PI's and the Director of Finance and Administration on all sponsored programs and start-up accounts
- Process grant account close-outs
Hybrid (3 days per week on campus, remaining as needed for in-person meetings)

Entry level:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration or a closely related field.
Intermediate level:
Bachelor's degree + 1 year of progressively responsible professional experience in research administration, grants management, finance or related area.
Senior level:
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience.
Principal level:
Bachelor's degree + 3 years of progressively responsible professional experience; or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Master's degree in business, accounting, public administration or related area
- Experience with post‑award grants management, including financial oversight, reconciliations, projections, and award closeout
- Experience managing federal sponsored awards (NIH, NSF, DoD) and knowledge of Uniform Guidance and sponsor‑specific policies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, complex spreadsheets)
- Experience in academic, medical, or research institutions
- Advanced experience with post‑award financial analysis: forecasting, variance analysis, cost transfers, compliance monitoring
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and provide guidance to faculty and leadership

- Entry: $50,160 – $67,215 per year (full time)
- Intermediate: $54,586 – $73,145 per year
- Senior: $59,012 – $79,076 per year
- Principal: $67,864 – $90,937 per year
