Mortgage Loan Set Up Specialist

Compensation: $40K annually plus production bonus

Program Set Up is responsible for pulling and analyzing the credit report, completing the 1003 and loan estimates, and structuring the loan program to suit the borrower’s needs. Work in a fast‑paced environment and apply knowledge of loan programs and guidelines to structure a loan that fits the borrower’s goals.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with business associates. Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, and to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of mortgage underwriting systems: AUS, DON, DU.

High school diploma. 1+ years of mortgage industry experience. Experience pulling and analyzing credit reports.

Knowledge of mortgage underwriting systems: AUS, DON, DU. Ability to evaluate credit reports. Familiarity with various mortgage loan products (CHFA, FNMA, FHLMC, Conventional). Analyze and interpret financial data to fit industry parameters. Maintain a secure environment for loan process files. Demonstrate strong moral ethics conduct. Communicate concerns regarding possible misrepresentation or fraudulent documentation/activity to Branch Manager and/or Processing Supervisor, if necessary.

Ability to work on weekends.
