- Extract and reconcile accounting data, including labor and cost transfer submittals.
- Monitor costs and personnel charging to ensure actuals remain within budget and are correctly charged to the appropriate end objective.
- Support supply‑chain management in financial controls of subcontracts and material procurement forecasting.
- Perform time‑phased budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis; produce internal and external reporting and manage risk/opportunity portfolios.
- Support finance management with pre‑close and month‑end forecast updates, maintain risk and opportunity portfolio, and generate variance analysis reports.
- Develop quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
- Assist Program Management in developing and presenting financial program management review slides.
- Analyze the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecast, and Short/Long‑Range Outlook.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and other project setup tasks.
- Prepare Work Authorization Documents.
- Address various ad‑hoc requests as needed.
- Typically a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with SAP, APEX, BW, PRISM, RPlan, and/or Analysis for Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD TS/SCI).
- Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry is preferred.
- Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- Experience developing monthly Financial Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
- In‑depth understanding of color‑of‑money policy and accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
- Proactive, creative, and innovative mindset with critical and strategic thinking.
- Analytical problem‑identification and problem‑solving skills.
- Broad understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
