Job Overview
Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector invites Proposal Analyst – Level3 or4 positions located in Aurora, CO. The role is 100% onsite, non‑telecommutable. The schedule is a 9/80 week, with every other Friday off.
Relocation assistance may be available.
Clearance required at Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Plan and manage cost and pricing efforts for proposals.
- Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in proposal development according to RFP specifications, company policies, and government regulations.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional contributors to ensure quality proposals and BOEs are submitted within customer deadlines.
- Work closely with Program Management and Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier quotes meet requirements.
- Research and critically analyze large volumes of data using spreadsheets and data‑mining skills to isolate and prioritize key data.
- Collaborate with the proposal team to develop creative solutions to complex contractual issues.
- Summarize and present detailed proposal information in internal management reviews and customer fact‑finding meetings.
- Develop negotiation strategies and participate as a member of the contract‑negotiating team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of proposal, pricing or financial experience – or master’s with 3+ years.
- Additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Current, active US Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain SCI upon hire.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of proposal, pricing or financial experience – or master’s with 6+ years.
- Additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Current, active US Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain SCI upon hire.
- Current active US Government DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Certified Estimating Professional (CEP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management and experience with Primavera.
- Experience with probability modeling (e.g., @Risk or Crystal Ball).
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations.
- Proficiency in Pro Pricer.
- Experience working with proposals and basis of estimate (BOE) analysis.
- Advanced Excel functionality experience.
- Parametric modeling experience.
- Cost analysis and risk modeling experience.
Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 – $.
Secondary Level Salary Range: $ – $.
Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for higher‑level positions.
