Job Overview

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector invites Proposal Analyst – Level3 or4 positions located in Aurora, CO. The role is 100% onsite, non‑telecommutable. The schedule is a 9/80 week, with every other Friday off.

Relocation assistance may be available.

Clearance required at Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI.

• Plan and manage cost and pricing efforts for proposals.
• Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in proposal development according to RFP specifications, company policies, and government regulations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional contributors to ensure quality proposals and BOEs are submitted within customer deadlines.
• Work closely with Program Management and Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier quotes meet requirements.
• Research and critically analyze large volumes of data using spreadsheets and data‑mining skills to isolate and prioritize key data.
• Collaborate with the proposal team to develop creative solutions to complex contractual issues.
• Summarize and present detailed proposal information in internal management reviews and customer fact‑finding meetings.
• Develop negotiation strategies and participate as a member of the contract‑negotiating team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of proposal, pricing or financial experience – or master’s with 3+ years.
• Additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Current, active US Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain SCI upon hire.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of proposal, pricing or financial experience – or master’s with 6+ years.
• Additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Current, active US Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain SCI upon hire.

• Current active US Government DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Certified Estimating Professional (CEP).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management and experience with Primavera.
• Experience with probability modeling (e.g., @Risk or Crystal Ball).
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations.
• Proficiency in Pro Pricer.
• Experience working with proposals and basis of estimate (BOE) analysis.
• Advanced Excel functionality experience.
• Parametric modeling experience.
• Cost analysis and risk modeling experience.

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 – $.
Secondary Level Salary Range: $ – $.
Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for higher‑level positions.
