Sangre de Cristo Community Care is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at our Canon City office in South Western Colorado. We serve a diverse patient base across Southern Colorado, including pediatric patients and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services under the treatment plans and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Complete visit notes accurately and promptly
• Review patient diagnoses and injuries, observing precautions and contraindications
• Keep the supervising therapist informed about patient progress and issues

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and current certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Preferably some experience in physical rehabilitation
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Colorado
• Valid non-restricted driver’s license
• Flexibility to work weekends if needed
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience as a COTA
• Willingness to visit patients throughout Otero and surrounding counties
