Job SummaryA 100% full‑time open-rank Clinical Research Coordinator position for the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Center Program (PVDC) within the Center for Lungs and Breathing (CLB) at the University of Colorado Hospital. This role assists in conducting clinical trials and research projects for the PVDC Program.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborating with principal investigators and co‑investigators to enroll clinical trial patients.
- Conducting study visits.
- Maintaining overall compliance with the policy and procedures for conducting good clinical trials.
- Screening, consenting and enrolling study participants.
- Collecting, processing, and storing samples for research.
- Tracking medication compliance and coordinating protocol procedures.
- Collecting and reporting all patient‑provided adverse drug reactions and other serious adverse events.
- Providing patient education and follow‑up per protocol guidelines.
- Participating in routine meetings with monitors to reconcile data management issues.
- Participating in investigators' meetings.
- Preparing and submitting compliance documentation for the institutional review board.
- Submitting to the Human Research Subjects Portal for UCH‑RSS review and approval.
- Maintaining databases.
- Abstracting data from patient charts and electronic medical records.
- Serving in the following areas:
- Clinical Research Advisory Forum (RAF).
- Clinical Research Coordinators Committee (CRC).
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
