Cytologist (Healthcare Senior Professional) Job Summary

Discerns cytologic changes present in a disease process, specifically malignant or pre‑malignant changes to a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited cytotechnology‑training program
  • Cytotechnologist certification through The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
  • Two (2) years of professional level experience
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a 1:1 basis if the degree is directly related
  • Work experience in an Academic Medical environment

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored work authorization.

Salary

The starting salary range for this position is $70,849 to $90,120.
