Work Schedule:
Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday - Friday
Shift: Days
Pay: $57.50 - $80.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

This position reports to the Supervisor, Investigational Drug Services and is responsible for supporting clinical research activities through the safe, compliant, and efficient management of investigational products (IPs). This position ensures adherence to protocol requirements, federal and state regulations, sponsor expectations, and institutional policies governing investigational drug handling. The IDS Pharmacist will collaborate closely with research teams, investigators, coordinators, and clinical staff to optimize investigational drug workflows and support high-quality clinical trial execution.
Core responsibilities include IP management, protocol review, study activation support, feasibility planning, dispensing oversight, regulatory documentation, and education of research personnel. This position may also participate in pharmacy student and resident training and contribute to systemwide research initiatives.
Clinical Pharmacist:
Reviews study protocols to identify investigational drug requirements and ensure IDS operational feasibility.
Oversees the receipt, storage, accountability, and disposition of investigational products in accordance with GCP, USP standards, manufacturer guidance, and Colorado SBOP requirements.
Ensures accurate preparation, dispensing, labeling, and documentation of investigational medications for clinical trials.
Maintains complete and audit-ready drug accountability records for study monitors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Participates in institutional and systemwide research committees, quality initiatives, and IDS-related process improvements.
