Our clinical RDs are highly integrated within the multidisciplinary team on the inpatient units and outpatient clinics at Children’s Hospital Colorado. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pediatric nutrition, who enjoys working with a team, and who strives to learn and grow in their clinical skills and expertise. This position will be part of a dynamic team that works with our Hospital Medicine and Rehab patients both in the inpatient and outpatient settings covering a variety of clinical diagnosis and developmental stages.
The Clinical Dietitian Associate develops the skills to provide comprehensive, safe, and ethical medical nutrition therapy to patients, families, and other clients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
Additional Information- Location/Dept:
Clinical Nutrition - Job Details: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week - eligible for benefits (Non-exempt)
- Shift: M-F, occasional weekends/holidays. 8-hour shifts.
Education - Bachelor's Degree (prior to 2024 graduates). Master's Degree required for 2024 (and beyond) graduates.
Experience
- Preferred qualifications:
Experience working clinically in pediatrics and experience in nutrition support in the acute clinical setting.
Certification(s) - N/A
Licenses - Registered Dietitians (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) adhering to the Commission of Dietetic Registration guidelines.
Salary InformationPay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Hourly Range: $28.61 to $42.92.
Eligible IncentivesThis position is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified, external candidates. Relocation assistance available to qualified candidates if relocating from 100 miles or greater. Conditions may apply.
