Job Summary

The University of Colorado (CU) Anschutz School of Medicine (SOM) Adult and Child Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to provide direct professional support for research activities and coordination. Specifically, this position will provide administrative and project management support to the ACCORDS Data Informatics and Statistics Core (DISC) and the clinical trials data coordinating center (DCC).

This position will report to the DISC Director. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be able to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal support, have advanced organizational and program management skills, and be customer service oriented. This role is a great opportunity to be involved in campus-wide initiatives and contribute to impactful system improvements. Examples of projects that the Program Manager will lead include: developing, coordinating, and implementing tracking and review processes of DISC and DCC projects;

coordinating regulatory, logistical, and data management components of DISC and DCC activities; developing, implementing, and organizing regulatory and performance-related documents and data of DISC and the DCC projects and operations; and communicating project status to DISC and DCC customers and collaborators. Additionally, the individual will assist with the development and operations of the DISC Service Center.

Work Location

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in‑person meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Program and Project Management (50%)

  • Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives in DISC and the DCC, including collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, and tracking and reporting on progress.
  • Monitor project status across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively identifying barriers, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Management of the DISC Service Center

Cross-Functional Engagement and Administrative Support (30%)

  • Serve as a central coordination point for projects involving multiple departments, Centers, service centers, and institutes.
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups to ensure alignment, effective communication, and accountability.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership including scheduling, preparing agendas, presentations, meeting materials, taking notes, tracking action items, and following up on decisions.
