Job Details

  • Compensation: Hourly base pay range $13.50 per hour + tips. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, education or training and location.
  • Work Schedule: 7:00am – 11:00pm. Weekend availability is required.
  • Benefits: Employees may enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a company 401(k) plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for the above benefits. Benefits are subject to change.
Summary

The Bell Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The role includes assisting guests with luggage, deliveries, and pickup during arrival and departure.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients. (20%)
  • Promptly acknowledge and greet guests within five feet, use guests’ last names and appropriate salutations. (20%)
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks. (20%)
  • Conduct thorough room presentations and assist guests with room changes as needed. (15%)
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests and assist with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries. (15%)
  • Provide information about the hotel, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions. (15%)
  • Use only approved taxi or transportation services for off‑site guests. (15%)
  • Correctly tag individual bags in the bell storage area and ensure safe transport to destinations. (15%)
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the guest services area and deliver items or amenities as requested. (10%)
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Account Manager. (10%)
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Licensure / Certification: Valid driver’s license for the state in which the job is performed or within a commutable distance. Must complete the Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training course.
  • Work Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English; understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems; ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.
  • Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide three‑digit numbers, including using units of American currency; effective presentation of information to guests and colleagues; multi‑tasking with a courteous attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Scope of Authority

The role is routine; the incumbent follows departmental guidelines and performs tasks under specific instructions, with limited autonomy for decision making. Errors may affect department efficiency.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

The position requires speaking, hearing, standing, walking, carrying objects up to 100pounds occasionally, and performing physical tasks outdoors in variable weather. Running, climbing stairs, and other physical activities may be required.
