Guest Service Associate
Oversee guest interactions and parking services for hospital and guest accommodations by delivering friendly service, maintaining a professional demeanor, and ensuring timely and safe arrival and departure experiences.
CompensationHourly base pay range: $15.16/hr + tips.
Work ScheduleShift hours between 7am and 11pm. Weekend availability required.

Job SummaryThe Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and guiding guests to required locations.
Essential Functions- Maintains pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients (approximately 25%). Uses guest last names and appropriate greetings.
- Employs proper phone etiquette and uses the day’s salutation; posts up in designated areas while not completing tasks (approx. 10%).
- Parks and retrieves vehicles safely; assists with bell services and luggage; opens vehicle and hotel doors (20%).
- Assists guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information on outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions (10%).
- Explains parking rates, issuance of claim checks, and collects revenue when required; maintains accurate ticket data and location tagging (35%).
- High school diploma or GED – required.
- Valid driver’s license for applicant’s state of work.
- One (1) month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles.
- Basic reading and writing in standard English; ability to comprehend short instructions and write simple correspondence.
- Basic arithmetic in American currency, timekeeping, and ability to perform operations with units of money.
- Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems, relevant rates, and manual transmission operation (highly desirable).
- Ability to perform parallel parking and other vehicle maneuvering tasks.
Job is routine with decisions made within established operational instructions; errors may affect department efficiency.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsFrequent sitting or standing; running, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision:
Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, focus adjustment. Lifting:
Up to 100lb occasionally, 50lb frequently, or 20lb constantly. Environment:
Outdoor work, extreme heat and cold; weather conditions may vary. Travel: up to 5% of duty time.
